Let’s start from the beginning!

Born and raised in the South Bronx, NY, Ashley transitioned from watching her favorite stars on TV to performing, traveling, and living out her dream alongside them. Blessed to share the stage with music industry icons like Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, and more!

From an early age, Ashley was inspired to perform, with her Puerto Rican roots blending seamlessly with the undeniable hip-hop culture of the Bronx. Signing herself up for every talent show and block party, she aimed to touch the stage where she felt most alive.

As time passed, Ashley began to take her talents more seriously. During high school, she expanded her training at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Capezio Center, gaining invaluable mentors through their commercial dance industry programs. It was then that she realized her passion could transform into a career. Instead of accepting a scholarship to New York University, she chose to pursue a career in entertainment.

Refusing to settle for anything less than success in the professional dance industry, Ashley infused all her faith, hard work and purpose into becoming the professional dancer and performer she is today. Her current pursuits extend into acting, choreography, movement coaching, teaching, and mentoring. Through her brand, CruzwithAshley, she aims to inspire dreamers and creatives everywhere to think big, follow their purpose, and push beyond every limit!
